Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF)

Advisors who have earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation are able to immediately show that they are interested in and are working towards the best interest of their clients. Accredited Investment Fiduciary designees have a sound investment management process grounded in industry best practices. They understand the basis for and benefits of fiduciary excellence. An Accredited Investment Fiduciary advisor has the ability to implement a prudent process into their own investment practices as well as being able to assist others in implementing proper policies and procedures.

Certified Funds Specialist (CFS®)

The CFS® designation is the oldest in the mutual fund industry. The Institute of Business & Finance (IBF), in the form of a 60-hour self-study program, provides the designation. Course topics include, but are not limited to, Portfolio Theory, dollar-cost averaging and annuities. The course includes a final exam, administered by the National Association of Securities Dealers, and an open-book case study.
